Manufacturers Predict 58% Decrease in 2005 Printing Expenses in Favor of Website Communication According to Corey Wenger of Key Position
The leading manufacturing marketing research firm, TR Cutler, Inc. (www.trcutlerinc.com) based in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida conducted a national survey of 1198 privately held manufacturers last month to determine anticipated 2005 marketing expenditures. One of the statistically significant findings was that 58% of the manufacturing respondents expect to decrease 2005 Printing Expenses and planned to shift these expenses to Internet and Website marketing.
The respondents were senior management only from President, Owner, CEO, CFO, VP Operations, VP Marketing, Director of Purchasing, or General Manager.
According the Corey Wenger, President of Key Position Web Marketing (www.key-position.com), the only manufacturing search engine optimization (SEO) marketing firm, "The trend away from printed marketing collateral has been a strong trend over the past year. As manufacturers find print material quickly dated and inaccurate, the capacity to communicate with existing and potential customers the precise mix of product capacity, features, benefits, and advantages via the internet and their company's website is far superior." Wenger also noted, "The fact that accurate and current information may be constantly provided via the company website ensures that the trend away from print material will continue."
Key Position Web Marketing, based in Indianapolis, IN, is the only manufacturing search engine optimization (SEO) marketing firm, specializes in Industrial web-based sales lead generation through SEO and pay-per-click programs for industrial/manufacturing and engineering companies. On average, Key-Position clients experience sales increases of 200% + in qualified web-generated sales leads.
